Has always had a desire to develop youth prepaing then to become good citizens. While Rubin G. Salahuddin was simultaneously maintaining his business in the Pest Control Industry and New Mind Investment Group, Volunteer Imam (Minister) Assistant to Masjid As-Salaam, and part time Chaplain for SCDC found time in 1989 to begin coachin youth baseball and eventually in 2013 being elected as MYBL President. Rubin G. along with staff are always working to desgin baseball activities that craete opportunities that leaves lasting memories. Nine years as president and counting Rubin G. continuously strives to find ways to connect urban youth to the game of baseball by collaborating with community organizations. He is confident that MYBL Program will eventually make an impact to increase African American representation in the MLB from 7% to double digits.
